Deemed interest by virtue of Section 8 of the Companies Act 2016 held through Active Equity Sdn Bhd, Sungei Way Corporation Sendirian Berhad, Sunway Berhad, Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd and children. This amended announcement supersedes the announcement which was made on 29 August 2025. Sungei Way Corporation Sendirian Berhad had on 27 August 2025, disposed of 21,700,000 ordinary shares (instead of 24,200,000 ordinary shares) via Direct Business Transaction. As such, the total indirect/deemed interest of Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah Fook Ling KBE AO should be 799,929,588.
