MANAGEMENT UPDATE

Avalon Minerals Limited (ASX: AVI) (‘Avalon’ or ‘Company’)

Avalon announces that pending an evaluation and review by the Board of Directors, Mr Jeremy Read’s powers and role as Managing Director have been temporarily suspended.

Any queries can be directed to the Company Secretary or the interim manager appointed by the Board, Mr Will Colwell of Ferrier Hodgson, Brisbane.

Mr Read remains a non-executive director of Avalon.
