MANAGEMENT UPDATE CLARIFICATION

Avalon Minerals Limited (ASX: AVI) (‘Avalon’ or ‘Company’)

Avalon provides the following clarification of the ASX announcement made on 26 September 2013.

The Board (by a majority) has engaged Ferrier Hodgson to assist the Board on a short term basis to provide interim management & advisory services to the Company pending a review of the Managing Director’s position and pending further consideration by the Board.

The Company is continuing to operate and undertake its activities as normal and is not under External Administration.

Any questions may be directed to the Company Secretary.

This release will lift the trading halt currently in place.
