RESIGNATION/APPOINTMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY

Avalon Minerals Ltd (ASX: AVI ; “Avalon”) announces the appointment of Ms Roslynn Shand to the position of Company Secretary with Avalon, effective immediately. Ms Shand replaces the previous Company Secretary, Mr Brett Dickson.

Ms Shand holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Queensland. She is also a fellow of the Chartered Secretaries Australia.

Ms Shand has over 15 years experience in the company secretarial area. She has been a company secretary for entities involved in the mineral resource, financial, agricultural and bio-tech sectors. Ms Shand is a former company secretary for Discovery Metals Limited and Meridian Minerals Limited

Avalon’s Managing Director, Jeremy Read said; “the Board of Avalon welcomes the appointment of Ms Shand as the new Company Secretary and thank Mr Dickson for his contribution to the Company.”
