CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT RESIGNATION OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT OF A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Reference is made to the announcement of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (“ Sunshine ” or the " Corporation ") dated April 6, 2017 in relation to, among others, the appointment of a nonexecutive director (the " Announcement ").

The Corporation noted an inadvertent omission on page 2 of the Announcement and wishes to clarify that Ms. Liu Linna is aged 39. Save for the aforesaid, all the information in the Announcement remains unchanged.
