Autoclaves for Clean TeQ Sunrise arrive in Australia
Mr Sam Riggall, Chief Executive Officer of Clean TeQ Holdings Limited ( Clean TeQ or the Company ) (CLQ:ASX; CTEQF:OTCQX), today announced that the two new autoclaves purchased for the Clean TeQ Sunrise Project, located in New South Wales, Australia, (the Project ) have arrived at Port Pirie, South Australia.
The autoclaves are pressure vessels manufactured with steel shells and explosively bonded titanium lining, and represent the critical component of the high-pressure acid leach ( HPAL ) circuit for the Project. Each vessel weighs approximately 600 tonnes and measures 30 meters long and 6 meters in diameter.

The unused autoclaves were purchased from Vale International S.A. (a subsidiary of the Brazilian multinational metals and mining group, Vale SA) and arrived onboard the BBC Emerald from New Caledonia. They have been successfully unloaded to a designated area at Port Pirie, where they will be stored before being transported by road to the Clean TeQ Sunrise Project in time for installation on site.
They were designed and fabricated by Coek Engineering N.V ( Coek ), Belgium, and are designed to withstand the operating conditions required for effective leaching of nickel, cobalt and scandium from Sunrise ore.
Clean TeQ’s strategy is to fast-track development of the Project to capture the increasing global demand for high quality cobalt sulphate and nickel sulphate for the global lithium ion battery market. The acquisition of these critical long-lead time items at this early stage of Project development will significantly de-risk and compress the project delivery schedule.
