OVERSEAS REGULATORY ANNOUNCEMENT 2020 RESULTS PRESENTATION ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Maanshan Iron & Steel Company Limited (the “ Company ”) proposes to publish its 2020 annual results on the website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (www.sse.com.cn) on 25 March 2021. In order to facilitate investors to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Company’s 2020 annual results and operation, the Company plans to convene the annual results presentation from 15:00 to 16:30 on 30 March 2021 to communicate on issues that investors are generally concerned about.

I. TYPE OF PRESENTATION

The presentation will be held on live webcast in both Chinese and English. The Company will communicate with investors on issues concerning its annual results and operation in 2020, and answer questions of general concerns from investors.

In order to improve the efficiency of communication, the Company intends to publicly solicit questions from investors before the 2020 results presentation and take into account the opinions and suggestions of a broad spectrum of investors. The Company will answer questions that investors are generally concerned about at the results presentation.
