With reference to the above mentioned subject, we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors have approved the appointment of Dr V Anantha Nageswaran as an Additional Director — Non Executive Independent Director of the Company for a period of 5 (five) consecutive years effective, September 16, 2021.

The Company will obtain the approval of the shareholders with respect to his appointment through postal ballot process in due course.

Dr V Anantha Nageswaran (DIN 00760377) aged 57 years is a PhD in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA and a PGDM (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He is an Economist, an Independent Consultant to financial / mutual fund companies and a Distinguished Visiting Professor. Dr V Anantha Nageswaran is not related to any of the Directors of the Company. He is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.
