On September 30, 2013, BlackRock, Inc., New York, NY, U.S.A. has informed
us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on Südzucker AG Mannheim/Ochsenfurt, Mannheim, Deutschland,
have exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on September 26, 2013
and on that day amounted to 3.002% (this corresponds to 6129429 Voting
Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.002% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
6129429 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
