CLOSURE OF RIGHTS ISSUE
Structural Monitoring Systems plc (ASX: SMN & SMNOA) is pleased to advise the closure on Monday 11[th] April 2011 of the non-renounceable entitlements issue of shares offered to shareholders via the Prospectus dated 4[th] March 2011.
Shares were offered at 1 cent per Share, on the basis of 1 Share for every 3 Shares held by Shareholders as at 5.00 pm WST on 15[th] March 2011 and the issue of Options (exercise price of 0.85 cents and expiry date 31[st] March 2013) for no consideration on the basis of 1 free Option for every 1 Share subscribed for under the Prospectus.
The Company advises that it has received subscriptions for 94,452,784 shares raising $944,527.84. Securities will be allotted and holding statements dispatched to shareholders as per the timetable.
The shortfall of 52,325,622 shares are to be placed through the lead manager to the issue, Mac Equity Partners Pty Ltd, per clause 2.6 of the Prospectus.
