EAGLE FORD SHALE ACTIVITIES UPDATE

Strike Energy Limited is pleased to advise that fracture stimulation of its first Eagle Ford Shale production test well – Bigham 1H – has commenced. As of 26 September, three of the planned 21 frac stages have been successfully completed.

Strike participates in over 37,000 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale through its 27.5% interest in the Eagle Landing Joint Venture (approximately 10,000 acres net to Strike).

Production test results from Bigham 1H are expected during the second half of October.
