EAGLE FORD SHALE ACTIVITIES UPDATE

Strike Energy Limited is pleased to advise that fracture stimulation operations at its first Eagle Ford Shale production test well – Bigham 1H – have been successfully completed. Bigham 1H will now be shut-in for approximately 10 days, after which plug drill out and flow-back operations will commence. Production testing will occur once the well has cleaned up and, assuming trouble free operations, initial production results are expected during the second half of October.

Strike participates in over 37,400 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale through its 27.5% interest in the Eagle Landing Joint Venture (approximately 10,300 acres net to Strike).
