BIGHAM 1H PRODUCTION UPDATE

Strike Energy Limited is pleased to provide an update on flow back operations at the Bigham 1H production well.

Since the company’s last announcement, Bigham 1H has continued to clean up with both gas and oil flows continuing to build at a steady rate. Bigham 1H has taken longer to clean up than originally anticipated due to the very large volume of water successfully pumped during fracture stimulation with only ~10% of this frac fluid having been recovered so far.

In line with Bigham 1H’s performance to date, we expect oil and gas flows to continue increasing and the company will update the market as hydrocarbon flow rates indicative of the well’s full potential are realised.

Managing Director, David Wrench, said:

“We are encouraged by Bigham 1H’s performance at this early stage although the well is taking longer to clean up than originally anticipated.

Based on what we have seen so far we continue to expect the well will achieve its’ full potential once it has cleaned up.” he said.

Strike participates in over 37,400 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale through its 27.5% interest in the Eagle Landing Joint Venture (approximately 10,300 acres net to Strike).
