ASX Announcement

Strike Energy Limited ABN 59 078 012 745

The Company Announcement Officer, ASX Ltd via electronic lodgement

AWARD OF EROMANGA BASIN PERMITS

Strike Energy Limited is pleased to advise that it has been awarded three permits in the Eromanga Basin close to the company’s existing Cooper Basin permits.

The permits – PEL 71, PEL 515 and PEL 575 – were previously permit applications held by Strike, and were awarded by the South Australian Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy following the conclusion of agreements with native title holder and claimant groups.

Strike has high working interests in the new permits and is the operator. The new permits are located to the west of the Cooper Basin (see Map 1 below) and are prospective for Western Flank-style conventional oil accumulations.
