Results of Share Sale Facility for Holders of Unmarketable Parcels
Streamplay Studio Limited (“Streamplay” or the “Company”) (ASX:SP8), a leading provider of competitive casual gaming and eSports technology, music streaming services, and telco value-added services, is pleased to announce it has completed the Unmarketable Parcel Sale Facility (UMP Facility) announced on 13 February 2023 (Announcement) for holders with Unmarketable Parcels of fully paid ordinary shares in Streamplay (Shares).
As defined in the Company’s Announcement, an Unmarketable Parcel of shares was any shareholding below 45,455 shares, valued at less than $500 (each an Unmarketable Parcel), based on the $0.011 per share closing price as at the Record Date (9 February 2023). The Company established the UMP Facility to assist shareholders holding Unmarketable Parcels of Shares to sell their Shares in a costeffective manner.
The final number of Shares sold under the UMP Facility was 32,987,295 shares held by 1,958 shareholders. The Company received 289 share retention forms from shareholders, holding 4,860,605 Shares, who chose to retain their Shares despite being eligible for the UMP Facility.
The shareholders whose shares were sold through the UMP Facility shall receive $0.009 per share (average price of shares sold under UMP Facility) without having to pay brokerage or other costs.
Shareholders whose shares were sold under the UMP Facility will receive payment for their shares on or shortly after 3 May 2023. The sale proceeds will be paid in Australian Dollars by direct credit to the relevant recipients. Non-resident holders or those holders who have not provided their direct credit details will be paid in Australian Dollars by cheque.
