01 / INTRODUCTION
The Gaming Community
Arcade X follows and contributes to the increasingly growing trend of building gaming communities. Playing games on the go, creating player profiles and teams, and of course competing for some of the best titles and prizes.
Arcade X has become the bridge connecting two opposite entities - the Gaming Community and Corporate Advertisers and Sponsors. The platform is commercially designed to deliver revenue from both Corporate Customers and Gaming Users.
A culturally driven platform, that allows Corporate Customers to target Gamers by country and Gamers to engage with content that is relevant to their country and culture.

02 / THE MOBILE MARKET
Glancing at the Market
While taking a look at the market and identifying the number of growing trends - the most obvious one is the need for gamers and the communities in general to have both the old school console, or home based PC systems, and the ability to move onto more mobile, on-the-go devices.
Casual gaming is one of the most dynamic consumer facingmarkets. There is constant adaptation required, especially by the developers, who must master more complicated user ecosystems and the gaming context within that.
There needs to be constant adaptation to include the latest trends, and the way the consumers enjoy and consume media.

Smartphone and Tablet Devices
So what do Mobile devices look like? The platform needs to be entirely compatible with any smartphone or tablet device.
The primary objective when designing, testing and improving the experience of the platform is to study the community and consumer technology used in the region the platform will be launched in and adapting to it. The Arcade X platform needs to be compatible with the unique and specific brands being used by the respective community.

06 / KEY FEATURES
6.1 Automated Brackets and Leaderboards
Arcade X has the ability to feature two types of Leaderboards.
1. Game Leaderboard
Each individual game has a Leaderboard that updates automatically when a player earns any battle points. The Game Leaderboard is related only to that game and presents players in order from highest to lowest points score.
2. Brand Leaderboard
Each brand has their own page with it’s very own Leaderboard. This Brand Leaderboard is a bit different to the Game Leaderboard, as it is not linked to one specific game title, but tallies the scores from all game titles / tournaments / challenges from each game held by the brand. Battle points will still be tallied for each user individually.
Both Leaderboards can be viewed by Gamers on all devices.

6.10 Advergames and Lead generation
Advertising within games is becoming more and more popular. Advergames and Lead generation can be achieved in the casual games. Advergames allow for brands to rebrand or reskin the game in order to create a stronger presence and resonate with the players. Based on the corporate needs we can add logos, exchange assets and sounds, implement new backgrounds and more.
Lead gen within the games is often recommended, people can not only look at your brand or product, they will experience it and form an emotional bond through the extraordinary experience offered to them through the combination of existing games and the corporate brand.
Part of lead gen would also be the ability to integrate contact forms after the game or in between levels. Use the games to reward coupons and discounts to players. Prompt users to your product website from the game.

6.11 Geofencing
Geofencing means that if the platform has not been launched in a country, area, or region. With the help of GPS software and RFID technology, geographical boundaries have been put in place. Players will not be able to access any games or register on the platform if they are not from the country / area / region in which Arcade X has launched.
Arcade X is based on creating individual experiences by directing a specific country and community with each new release. The idea behind geofencing is to help corporate brands promote directly to their target audiences and attract users that will prove their campaign a success and give gamers content and games that are directed at them specifically. Adaptability of the platform features and functions when launching in a region to meet all legal and compliance requirements within a specific country.
