EMERGE LAUNCHES DEBONAIRS PIZZA CAMPAIGN ON ARCADE X

  • Emerge Gaming’s online gaming platform Arcade X has launched its first corporate branded campaign for Debonairs Pizza

  • The first Debonairs Pizza tournament campaign includes 4 mobile games titles and delivers prizes, battle points and raffles

  • Debonairs is the leading pizza fast-food brand in Southern Africa delivering 2.9 million pizzas per month from more than 500 restaurants

  • Arcade X will benefit from no cost user acquisition delivered from an extended Debonairs Pizza marketing campaign

Emerge Gaming Limited (ASX: EM1) (“ Emerge ” or the “ Company ”) is pleased to advise that the first corporate branded campaign on the Company’s Arcade X online gaming platform have been successfully launched for Debonairs Pizza, the leading pizza fast-food brand in Southern Africa.

This launch follows swiftly on from signing an agreement with Detonator Media Group under which media services will be delivered for Debonairs Pizza. For further details of this agreement, please refer to 17 May 2018 announcement.

Debonairs Pizza Campaign

The launch of the first Debonairs Pizza campaign in South Africa on 4 June 2018 sees Arcade X providing its corporate tournament services i.e. operating 4 Debonairs Pizza branded tournaments integrating 4 mobile games, over a period of 4 weeks.

Gamers can enter the tournaments to win cash prizes, voucher prizes and battle points. The battle points can be used to enter weekly raffles to win further prizes.

These tournaments will be running in conjunction with the Debonairs Pizza’s extended marketing campaign which will facilitate the driving of gamers to the Arcade X platform to enter tournaments. The tournaments are live and gamers are currently registering and competing for prizes on the Arcade X platform. Major marketing efforts will shortly commence.

Emerge will receive circa AUD $100,000 revenue for this sponsorship and marketing initiative and will benefit from no cost user acquisition delivered from the extended spend on the Debonairs Pizza marketing campaign. These Media Services will drive user acquisition for Arcade X, with gamers required to register with Arcade X to enter Debonairs sponsored online gaming tournaments.

Since signing the agreement to provide these media services, the Emerge development team have been working to customise the Arcade X platform for these first branded tournaments with Debonairs Pizza. Now this work is complete, future tournament services will be even faster to customise and roll out for other brands.
