Correction of the release dated April 17, 2014

Financière de l'Echiquier, Paris, France has notified us pursuant to sec.
21 para. 1 WpHG on 3 June 2014, that on 16 April 2014 the share of voting
rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Birkenfeld, Germany, ISIN: DE0007289001
went below the threshold of 3% and that the percentage of voting rights on
that day amounted to 2.96% (348,851 voting rights). Of these, 0.29% (34,000
voting rights) are attributable to the company pursuant to sec. 22 para 1
sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
