Allianz SE, Munich, Germany, has notified us pursuant to section 21 (1) of
the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) on October 21, 2013 as follows:

'We hereby give notice pursuant to section 21 (1) of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) that our voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG,
Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld, went above the threshold of 3% on October
17, 2013 and amounted to 3.02% of all voting rights of the company (this
reflects 354,690 of all 11,747,745 voting rights).

These voting rights are attributed to us pursuant to section 22 (1)
sentence 1 number 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) and at the
same time pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 in conjunction
with sentence 2 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).'

At the same time Allianz SE, Munich, Germany, has notified us pursuant to
section 21 (1) in conjunction with section 24 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) as follows:

1. Allianz Asset Management AG
   The share of voting rights held by Allianz Asset Management AG, Munich,
   Germany, in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld,
   Germany, went above the threshold of 3% on October 17, 2013 and amounted to
   3.02% of all voting rights of the company (this reflects 354,690 of all
   11,747,745 voting rights). These voting rights are attributed pursuant to
   section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 of the
   German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).

2. Allianz Global Investors GmbH
   The share of voting rights held by Allianz Global Investors GmbH, Munich,
   Germany, in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld,
   Germany, went above the threshold of 3% on October 17, 2013 and amounted to
   3.02% of all voting rights of the company (this reflects 354,690 of all
   11,747,745 voting rights). These voting rights are attributed pursuant to
   section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 of the
   German Securities Trading Act (WpHG).
