Threadneedle Investment Funds ICVC, London, UK, has notified us pursuant to
§ 21 sec. 1 WpHG on 25 January 2012, that on 19 January 2012 the share of
voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Birkenfeld, Germany, ISIN:
DE0007289001, fell below the threshold of 5% and that the percentage of
voting rights on that day amounted to 4.71% (550,051 shares). These voting
rights are directly held by Threadneedle Investment Funds ICVC.

pursuant to § 21 sec. 1 WpHG on 25 January 2012, that on 19 January 2012
the share of voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Birkenfeld, Germany,
ISIN: DE0007289001, fell below the threshold of 5% and that the percentage
of voting rights on that day amounted to 4.71% (550,051 shares). Pursuant
