Allianz Global Investors Europe GmbH, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, has notified
us pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG) on October 26, 2012 as follows:

'We hereby give notice pursuant to section 21 (1) sentence 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that our voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical
AG, Gewerbestr. 37, 75217 Birkenfeld, fell below the threshold of 3% on
October 24, 2012 and on that day amount to 2.95% of all voting rights of
the Company (this reflects 345,623 of all 11,735,645 voting rights).

With respect to our voting rights, 0.29% of all voting rights (this
reflects 34,055 of all 11,735,645 voting rights) are attributed to us
pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 number 6 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG).'
