Straker Translations Limited (ASX: STG) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Straker Translations Limited (‘STG’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of STG, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 4 June 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Trading Halt Request – Straker Translations Limited ( ASX: STG ) ( Company )

Straker Translations Limited ( ASX: STG ) ( Company ) requests that ASX Limited grant a trading halt in respect of its ordinary shares ( ASX Code: STG ) in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 prior to the commencement of trading today.

The Company provides the following information for the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 17.1:

1. the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company in connection with a proposed equity raising by way of an institutional placement and pro-rata accelerated nonrenounceable entitlement offer;

2. the Company requests that the trading halt continue until the earlier of the Company releasing an announcement in relation to completion of the accelerated component of the equity raising, or until the commencement of trading on Friday, 4 June 2021;

3. the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

4. the Company is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
