Storebrand ASA: Jan Erik Saugestad new Executive Vice President Asset Management

Jan Erik Saugestad (50) is the new Executive Vice President for Asset Management

in the Storebrand Group and CEO of the subsidiary Storebrand Asset Management

AS. He takes over the position from Staffan Hansén, who has taken the position

as Executive Vice President for the customer front in Sweden.

Saugestad comes from the position of CIO in Storebrand Asset Management and he

has been the acting Executive Vice President for Asset Management since 1st

July.

- We have completed a thorough process, were both internal and external

candidates have been evaluated. Saugestad has the necessary attitude and skill

set to succeed. He has worked in Storebrand since 1999 and been Chief

Investment Officer since 2006, and has proven that he can create value and good

results, says CEO Odd Arild Grefstad.

this together with the organization, says Jan Erik Saugestad.

Jan Erik Saugestad is an engineer from NTNU and holds an MBA from INSEAD in

France. Prior to working in Storebrand he was employed at McKinsey & Company, in

Christiania Markets (Nordea Markets) and Handelsbanken Markets.
