STORA ENSO OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 16 January 2018 at 9.00 EET
During the 1–29 December 2017 conversion period there were two conversions and a
total of 40 710 A shares were converted into R shares. The shares were recorded
in the Finnish trade register today, 16 January 2018, and trading in the new R
shares will start on 17 January 2018.
Breakdown of shares after conversion:

A shares  176 351 610
R shares  612 268 377
Total  788 619 987

Each A share and each ten R shares carry one vote. The total amount of votes
after the conversion is at least 237 578 448.
