ASX/Media Release

CONFIRMATION OF FY12 REMUNERATION FRAMEWORK

Stockland’s Remuneration Report provides details of the short term and long term incentive schemes operating for executives and employees.

The Short Term Incentive (STI) comprises a balanced scorecard assessment against various key performance indicators (KPIs) comprising annual financial results, implementation of the strategic plan, organisational leadership, customer and stakeholder relations, sustainability and health and safety.

Earnings per Security (EPS) growth is the key Group financial measure. In FY11 the Group achieved EPS growth of 8.6% against a target of 7%. The Group also outperformed against several other KPIs including employee engagement and sustainability, where Stockland is recognised as a global leader.

The target FY12 EPS for STI measurement purposes is 6% growth on FY11, which takes into account the potential EPS impact of the buyback announced today.

The 6% EPS growth target for STI measurement compares to market guidance that EPS is expected to be around the same as FY11, and is a stretch target.

This STI target applies to the Managing Director, Executive Committee and General Managers, with 40% of the Managing Director’s total STI award based on this target.

The Remuneration Report is contained in the Consolidated Group Accounts, lodged on 10 August 2011.
