STOCKLAND ISSUES NEW MEDIUM TERM NOTE
Stockland has issued A$150 million of new debt through an AUD denominated senior unsecured Medium Term Note offering, which included the partial buy back of $36 million AUD denominated Medium Term Notes maturing in February 2015.
The new six year transaction was priced at an equivalent of 170 bps over swap and will settle on 6 September 2013. The issue extends Stockland’s weighted average debt maturity to 5.7 years on a pro forma basis.
Stockland Managing Director and CEO Mark Steinert said the issue was consistent with Stockland’s ongoing focus on maintaining a strong balance sheet with diverse sources of funding and long-dated average debt duration.
“This issue reflects our proactive approach to capital management, replacing debt maturing in October 2013 and ensuring we remain well placed to fund our future growth,” Mr Steinert said.
