HALLADALE FUNDS MANAGEMENT ARM ATTRACTS €75 MILLION INVESTMENT FROM GIC REAL ESTATE
Stockland today notes the announcement by Rynda, the European funds management arm of Halladale Group plc, that it had received a €75million commitment from GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd (GIC Real Estate) to Rynda en Primeur SA - a fund for provincial French real estate investment that has already acquired €128million of assets.
Halladale Group plc ("Halladale") owns a majority stake in Rynda Property Investors, manager of the Rynda en Primeur SA fund. Rynda Property Investors is an independent real estate investment management business established by Halladale in 2005 to operate funds throughout Europe.
In February 2007, Stockland announced its proposed acquisition of Halladale, the UK property investment, trading and development company via a scheme of arrangement. The acquisition has the support of the Halladale Board, while several major shareholders totaling 50% of issued shares, including Halladale management, have signed irrevocable undertakings in support of the Stockland proposal.
Stockland managing director Matthew Quinn said the scheme of arrangement with Halladale was due to be completed by the end of April 2007.

Rynda's en Primeur fund attracts €75m investment from GIC Real Estate
GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd (GIC Real Estate), the real estate investment arm of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, has made a €75m commitment to Rynda en Primeur SA - a fund for provincial French real estate investment. The Fund is managed by Rynda Property Investors and has already acquired €128m of assets.
