Item 8.01. Other Events.

On August 15, 2023, the Board of Directors of Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. voted to increase the Company's quarterly cash dividend to $0.30 per common share. The higher rate will be paid on October 2, 2023, to stockholders of record as of September 18, 2023. On August 16, 2023, Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference, announcing the dividend increase.
