Board Appointment

STM Group Plc (AIM:STM), the multi jurisdictional financial services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Therese Neish to the Board of STM as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Ms Neish trained with KPMG where she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003, having previously studied BA (Hons) Accountancy & Financial Studies at Exeter University.  Joining STM in 2003, Ms Neish spent 5 years in the Insurance Management division of the Group prior to becoming Group Financial Controller.

Alan Kentish, formerly CFO and recently appointed to the post of Director of Product and Business Development, will focus on driving STM's suite of proprietary products and the Group revenue line as STM continues to expand its product propositions in the international financial services markets.

Commenting on the appointment, Colin Porter, CEO of STM, said:

"Therese has worked with the senior management team at STM for 10 years and knows the business very well.  We are confident that she will be a great asset to the Board of STM.

"The Board would like to thank Alan for his guidance as CFO and looks forward to his contribution in further shaping STM's product offering in markets where the current product choice does not meet customer requirements.  STM's proactive approach has been well received by advisers."
