Philip Purcell Retires as a Director after Nine Years on Steadfast Board

Steadfast Group (ASX:SDF) announces the retirement of Mr Philip Purcell as a director, effective 22 February 2022, as part of the implementation of its Board succession planning.

Frank O’Halloran AM, Chairman, said: “Philip joined the Board in January 2013 to assist with the transition of Steadfast from a broker Network to a publicly listed company in August 2013. He has been an outstanding contributor to the Board, particularly in the areas of insurance law, people management and governance. He has also been a great mentor to management and the Network brokers. During his nine years as a non-executive director, the Group’s listed market value has grown to $4.6b from $535m at IPO.”

Robert Kelly, the Managing Director & CEO said: “I look forward to continuing our association with Philip. He has accepted our invitation to join two of our major subsidiary boards.”

The network provides services to broker businesses across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and London.
