Steadfast Group announces the appointment of Nigel Fitzgerald as Chief Operating Officer

Steadfast Group Limited (ASX: SDF) (“Steadfast Group”) is pleased to announce Nigel Fitzgerald will join Steadfast Group as Chief Operating Officer.

Nigel is a highly experienced and respected CEO with a proven track record in the general insurance and reinsurance industry. He has over 25 years’ of experience across all general insurance sectors in Asia, London, USA and Australia.

Managing Director & CEO, Robert Kelly said “Nigel brings an extensive and diverse range of skills that complement Steadfast’s revenue streams. We are delighted to have such a high caliber executive further strengthen Steadfast’s executive team.”

Nigel is currently the CEO of AIG Australia. He will commence his role with Steadfast Group in 2Q 2023 and will be based in Sydney.

This appointment follows current Steadfast Group Chief Operating Officer, Samantha Hollman commencing a new role as Chief Executive Officer of Steadfast International Insurance Assets effective 1 March 2023.

Mr Kelly said “I’d like to congratulate Samantha on her new role and I welcome Nigel to Steadfast Group.”
