Appointment of Director: Ms Gai McGrath
The Directors of Steadfast Group Limited are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Gai McGrath as a director of Steadfast Group Limited, effective 1 June 2018.
Ms McGrath has over 22 years of financial services experience including twelve years with Westpac Group. She was General Manager of Westpac’s retail banking business in Australia from 2012 to 2015 and in New Zealand from 2010 to 2012. Prior to the Westpac Group, Gai was General Counsel & Company Secretary at Perpetual Limited and a partner in the Sydney-based law firm, Rosenblum & Partners (which subsequently merged with Ashurst).
Ms McGrath is a director of Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia Limited (where she also chairs the Audit Committee), IMB Bank (where she chairs the People & Culture Committee and Financial Planning Committee), Landcom, Investa Listed Funds Management Limited as responsible entity of the Investa Office Fund and Toyota Finance Australia Limited. She is also a member of the Council of the State Library of NSW, a trustee and director of the State Library of New South Wales Foundation, Chair of the Advisory Board of Nexa Group, a member of the Fundraising and Appeals Committee of The Salvation Army and a member of the Advisory Committee of Humanitix.
Ms McGrath is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
