State Gas Limited (ASX: GAS) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of State Gas Limited (‘GAS’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of GAS, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 24 September 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

STATE GAS LIMITED: REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, State Gas Limited requests the granting of an immediate trading halt in its securities pending an announcement regarding details of a capital raising. The trading halt is necessary to ensure the market is informed.

The Company anticipates making the above noted announcement as soon as possible. The trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of commencement of trading on 24 September 2021 or when the announcement referred to above is made.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
