IGas Energy plc ("IGas" or "the Company")

Court approves Scheme of Arrangement

The Board of IGas is pleased to note the announcement today by Dart Energy Limited ("Dart") regarding the proposed recommended acquisition of Dart by IGas by way of Scheme of Arrangement between Dart and its shareholders ("Scheme").

Dart announced that the Supreme Court of Queensland ("Court") has today issued orders approving the Scheme.  The Scheme will now be implemented in accordance with the timetable released on 24 September 2014 which is set out below:

Implementation Date (new shares in IGas issued to Dart shareholders and IGas acquires all Dart shares)	Thursday 16 October 2014
