Standard Chartered PLC announces changes to the proposed date for dispatch of Annual Report and Accounts and Final Dividend Information from 15th March, 2004 to 22nd March, 2004

Standard Chartered PLC (the "Company") previously announced on 18th February, 2004 that the proposed date for dispatch of its Annual Report and Accounts and Final Dividend information was 15th March, 2004.

The Company now announces that the proposed date for dispatch of these documents has been changed to 22nd March, 2004.

The Company does not propose to make any change to the date of its Annual General Meeting or the dividend payment date previously announced to shareholders.
