Grant of Share Options
This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 17.06A of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Standard Chartered PLC (the "Company") announces that on 7 October 2015, options (the "Options") to acquire 1,535 Ordinary shares of USD0.50 each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") were granted to Andy Halford, Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer of the Company under the Standard Chartered 2013 Sharesave Plan at the exercise price of £5.86.
The closing market price of the Shares on the London Stock Exchange on the date of grant (7 October 2015) was £7.414. Under the Standard Chartered 2013 Sharesave Plan, the Options may be exercised from 1 December 2018 for a period of six months.
