Pursuant to the UK Listing Rule 9.6.14(2), Standard Chartered PLC announces that Gay Huey Evans, independent non-executive director will be appointed to the board of the combined company of S&P Global and IHS Markit, following the closing of the recently announced merger – which is expected to occur during the second half of 2021. Gay Huey Evans is currently an independent director of IHS Markit and her appointment to the combined company is conditional on the successful closing of the transaction.
