Provision of additional information to the Announcement dated 5 July 2006 in relation to the appointment of Lord Turner as independent non-executive director of the Company
The purpose of this announcement is to provide additional information to the announcement dated 5 July 2006 in relation to the appointment of Lord Turner as independent non-executive director of the Company (the "Announcement").
Jonathan Adair Lord Turner of Ecchinswell is currently a non-executive director of United Business Media plc which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Lord Turner will be entitled to receive a director's fee of £60,000 per annum together with £15,000 per annum and £12,500 per annum as members of the Audit & Risk Committee and the Board Remuneration Committee respectively. The level of fees are determined with reference to the roles and responsibilities of independent non-executive directors.
Save as the information disclosed above and in the Announcement, there is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to any of the requirements under Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
