St. James's Place plc (the "Company")

The Company announces that an application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for a block listing totalling 347,500 ordinary shares of 15 pence each, to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List.  The shares will be reserved under a block listing and will be issued pursuant to the St. James's Place Sharesave Option Plan 2010.

It is expected that admission will become effective on 28 March 2018. When issued, the Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

This disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 3.5.5R of the Listing Rules.
