St. James's Place plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Fraser as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 22 April 2024. Upon appointment, Simon will be a member of the Group Remuneration Committee and Group Audit Committee and, subject to regulatory approval will be appointed as the Company's Senior Independent Director.  As Senior Independent Director Simon will also become a member of the Group Nomination and Governance Committee.

Simon has extensive experience in the financial sector having built a career in investment banking, with the majority of his executive career spent at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Latterly, Simon has held senior independent director positions at Derwent London plc and Lancashire Holdings Ltd and a non-executive position at Legal & General Investment Management Ltd until March 2024.

Since 2021, Simon has been a non-executive director of SEGRO plc.

Paul Manduca, Chair of St. James's Place plc, said: "I am delighted that Simon has agreed to join the Board, bringing with him extensive financial services experience combined with a knowledge of capital markets".

There is no other information regarding Simon Fraser's appointment to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
