St George Mining Limited (“St George Mining” or “Company”) requests a trading halt in its securities pending the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising by a placement to sophisticated investors.

It is anticipated that the announcement will be released to the ASX before 10:00am AEST on 12 October 2012.
