Appointment of Ms Ines Scotland as a Non-Executive Director

Ms Ines Scotland has been appointed to the Board of St Barbara Limited as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 September 2013.

An experienced director and senior executive in the resources sector, Ms Scotland has particular expertise in building successful projects in developing countries. She was a co-founder in 2007 of Citadel Resource Group Limited. As Managing Director & CEO, she listed the Company on the ASX through an IPO and managed the successful development of the Jabel Sayid copper project in Saudi Arabia before the company was acquired by Equinox Minerals in late 2010.

More recently, she was a Non-Executive Director of Ivanhoe Australia Limited and acted as its interim Managing Director from mid-2012 until early 2013. Previously, she held a number of positions within the Rio Tinto Group in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and USA, and subsequently acted as a consultant to the resources sector.

A graduate in Applied Science and in Graduate Studies, Business & Economics, Ms Scotland is currently a Director of Accessio Resources Group Pty Ltd and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the World Economic Forum, MENA Region and Global Growth.
