Chief Operating Officer

The Company advises that Mr Peter McIntyre has resigned as Chief Operating Officer of St Barbara Mines Limited with effect from 31 March 2003.

Once the proposed merger between the Company, Geomaque Explorations Ltd and Midas Gold plc is completed, the position of Chief Operating Officer will be filled.
