The issuer has the sole responsibility of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– UNWEAKENED DYNAMICS AT GERICOM INCREASE OF TURNOVER 41,6 % – INCREASE OF EBIT 107,7 % – ANNUAL NET INCOME MORE THAN DOUBLED Linz, March 30, 2001; GERICOM AG, quoted on the Neuer Markt (WKN 565 773), was able to continue its powerful growth during the fiscal year 2000. The turnover of the group increased up to 332,7 mill. Euro. This represents a growth of 41,6%, compared to the year before (235 mill. Euro in 1999). The earnings before interest and taxes amount to 14,83 mill. Euro. This is a growth of 107,7%, compared to the EBIT of 7,14 mill. Euro of the year 1999. The annual net income has been doubled from 4,28 mill. Euro to 9,21 mill. Euro. The profit per share has increased for 67%, from 0,51 Euro up to 0,85 Euro. In the year 2000 the average number of personnel came to 235 (1999: 189) employees. Because of this pleasant development, the payment of a dividend of 50% is planned.
