SSE (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the listing of, and to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of, a total of 30,000 ordinary shares.  Expected admission date - 12 February 2015.

This Block Listing is required to satisfy allotments of shares under the Company's SAYE Sharesave Scheme. 

The above shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares.
