SSE announces its timetable in relation to the interim dividend of 26.6p per ordinary share for the year ending 31 March 2015.

Shareholders holding shares in certificated form who wish to participate in the Scrip Dividend Scheme should return their mandate forms (available from SSE's website, www.sse.com) to the registrar, Capita Asset Services, so as to arrive no later than 20 February 2015.

Shareholders holding shares in certificated form who wish to withdraw from the Scrip Dividend Scheme should submit their written request to withdraw to Capita Asset Services so as to arrive no later than 20 February 2015.

Shareholders who hold their shares in uncertificated form should consult their Crest sponsors as appropriate.
