SRV will build spa hotel Holiday Club Saimaa in Lappeenranta

SRV has signed contract for the construction of spa hotel Holiday Club Saimaa in
Lappeenranta, in the historical area of Rauha. The hotel will have 222 rooms. In
addition to the hotel, an aqua park with wellness area, restaurant world and
multifunction ice arena will be built.

SRV acts as a contractor and investor in the project. The value of the signed
contract is EUR 44 million. In addition, SRV will invest around EUR 3 million in
the project.

The construction of Holiday Club Saimaa takes approximately 300 man-years. The
spa hotel will be completed in summer 2011.

experience in hotel and spa construction”, says Juha Pekka Ojala, Executive Vice
President of SRV Business Premises. SRV's recent hotel projects include Flamingo
in Vantaa and Scandic Hotel in Vierumäki.

The owner of the Holiday Club Saimaa spa hotel is Saimaan Kylpyläkiinteistöt Oy,
whose shareholders will be Holiday Club Resorts Oy, Mutual Pension Insurance
company Varma, SRV Group Plc, Mutual Insurance Company Fennia, Insurance Company
Henki-Fennia and Miriensis Oy.Financing will be provided by Handelsbanken
Finland,Pohjola Bank Plc, Nordea Bank Finland Plc, Finnvera Plc, City of
Lappeenranta, The Ministry of Employment and the Economy and local Centre for
Economic Development, Transport and the Environment
