Päivi Kauhanen appointed SRV’s SVP, Communications

Espoo, Finland, 2015-04-23 11:10 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SRV GROUP PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 23 APRIL 2015 at 12.10 Päivi Kauhanen appointed SRV's SVP, Communications Päivi Kauhanen, 39, has been appointed SRV Group Plc's SVP, Communications, and member of the Corporate Executive Team as of 4 May 2015. She joins SRV from Stora Enso Oyj, where she served in a number of communications management positions, including Communications Director, Finland. “Päivi Kauhanen is an experienced communications professional with diverse work experience of business supporting communications and marketing. SRV has a year of major start-ups on its hands and we need a versatile communications management expert,” says SRV's President & CEO Juha Pekka Ojala. Among the projects launched by SRV is the implementation of REDI, Finland's largest ever urban construction project, at Kalasatama in Helsinki. It is estimated that revenue from the project will exceed one billion euros. In addition, SRV's other projects include the New Children's Hospital and Niittykumpu Metro Centre. “SRV as a company and its major projects are very interesting and I'm excited to get the opportunity to work with SRV's other professionals in taking the company, REDI and other projects forward,” says Päivi Kauhanen.
