Notice of Annual General Meeting and Posting of Accounts

Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: SMS.L), the integrated metering services company that connects, owns, operates and maintains current generation and new advanced and smart metering assets and databases, confirms that it has posted its Report and Accounts for the twelve months ended 31 December 2017 (the "Annual Report") to shareholders together with the Notice of Annual General Meeting (the "Notice").

The Annual Report and the Notice are available on, and can be downloaded from, SMS's website: www.sms-plc.com. Printed copies of the Annual Report can also be requested.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at 9 am on 23 May 2018 at SMS, 2nd Floor, 48 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5TS.
