SRG Global Annual General Meeting Chairman’s Address

Introduction by Mr Peter McMorrow (Chairman) at SRG Global Limited’s 2021 Annual General Meeting.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to the SRG Global 2021 Annual General Meeting.

My name is Peter McMorrow and I am the Chairman of SRG Global.

It is now 10:00 am and I am advised that the necessary quorum of shareholders is present in person or represented by proxy. I therefore have the pleasure of declaring this Annual General Meeting of the Company open.

I would like to introduce you to my fellow Directors Mr David Macgeorge, our Managing Director, NonExecutive Directors Mr Michael Atkins and Mr Peter Brecht who has joined the meeting by teleconference due to current travel restrictions.

I would also like to introduce our CFO and Company Secretary, Roger Lee and our Company Secretary, Judson Lorkin. I also welcome Phil Murdoch who is representing the Company’s auditor, BDO and Mark Foster representing the Company’s lawyers, Steinepreis Paganin.

Ahead of our official business today, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the activities and achievements of the past year.

During the 2021 financial year we have taken significant steps forward in the strategic direction of the company and positioned SRG Global for long term sustainable growth. The Board is extremely pleased with the way our people have responded to every challenge and opportunity in delivering an exceptional outcome for our shareholders in what continued to be unprecedented times in FY21.

The world continued to present a challenging operating environment for companies in FY21 but despite these challenges, the SRG Global business has made significant progress in delivering our strategic priorities. This is a testament to the strength and professionalism of our people and the clear long-term strategy that we have in place.

The Board and I would like to sincerely thank all our people for the way they continue to come together to navigate through this dynamic environment. Importantly, this has been done whilst being true to our core beliefs, being; live for the challenge, smarter together, never give up and have each other’s backs.

During the year SRG Global has made great progress in executing our strategy to transition the business towards recurring / annuity earning streams.

This provides a strong foundation and further growth avenues to leverage our capability and operational footprint, enabling us to continue to maximise our diverse offering with our core and growing blue-chip client base.

Ultimately this translates to greater stability and certainty for shareholders throughout changing economic conditions. It also provides a more balanced portfolio of recurring / annuity earnings versus project-based earnings.

The successful execution of this strategy ensures that SRG Global will continue to be disciplined in selecting the right project-based opportunities that match our specialist skills and commercial framework.

The transformation towards recurring / annuity earnings has provided an excellent foundation which has enabled us to deliver sustainable and consistent returns for our shareholders not only for FY21 but also into the future.

SRG Global is in the strongest position it has been in my time with the Company. This is due to the high level of annuity-based earnings, large pipeline of opportunities and our strong and stable Board, Executive and Management.

I thank the Board members for their respective contributions over the last twelve months and I am particularly pleased with the way that the Board and Executive are working together.

As this year has highlighted, the SRG Global business is incredibly resilient and well positioned to take further significant steps forward over the next few years as we continue to deliver against our strategy in a disciplined and measured way.

I would like to thank all 2,300 people at SRG Global for their efforts and contribution in the last 12 months and I look forward to working with the whole SRG Global team to achieve our goals.

I would also like to thank all our shareholders for their ongoing support and I am both confident and excited for what the future holds at SRG Global.
